He is a member of Lincoln Financial Advisors’ elite planning group called The Resource Group as well as a member of Sagemark Consulting Private Wealth Services. Additionally, Jay has consistently been listed in the FIVE STAR Wealth ManagerSM Award* which recognizes financial advisors in the Cincinnati area who provide exceptional service to their clients. In the field of securities, Jay holds Series 6, 63 and 7 registrations. Jay specializes in advanced retirement planning and retirement risk management, investment planning, estate planning and charitable planning for corporate executives, retirees, professionals and business owners.
Jay has been a key note speaker for the Procter & Gamble Retired Officers Association as well as a transition seminar for P&G retirees. The growth of Jay’s practice has come solely from referrals from clients. Jay prides himself on extremely high client retention ratios, due in part to a low staff-to-client ratio and to his team’s extraordinarily attentive client service. Jay constantly is involved in continuing education, licensing renewal and industry best practices by attending workshops, professional seminars and meetings throughout the country. Jay graduated from Valparaiso University in 1981 with High Distinction and with a degree in Political Economy. He also has a degree from Christ College, the honors program at Valparaiso. He has a number of published articles and is a member of the board of trustees of The Hillside Trust. He resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, Lee Anne and their Labrador retriever, Einstein. He is an avid hiker and travels extensively for both business and pleasure.
